Work-Based Learning - B. Grantham

"We all have two choices; we can make a living or we can design a life."  Jim Rohn
My name is Betty Grantham.  This is my seventh year serving as Work-Based Learning Coordinator at WEMCHS.  I love being a part of this innovative school environment!  My educational background is in career and technical  education having worked as a Family and Consumer Science teacher in several Wayne County schools.  My passion for the arts also led me to receive certification in music, as well.  Here at WEMCHS I enjoy providing career exploration opportunities for our students as well as coordinating many of our school events.
On a personal note, I am married to Mitchell Grantham and we have two children, Jared and Lauren.  Jared is the Creative Arts Pastor at the Bridge Church and Lauren is a performer at the American Music Jubilee and the owner of Triple Threat Cupcakes and Sweets. They are married to two wonderful spouses, Amanda and Brooks.  I also have two beautiful granddaughters--Ellisyn. and Kylee. Mitchell and I enjoy going to Topsail Island with our English bulldogMugsy.  We are also very active members of The Bridge.
